Why do we own a Class A? Simple: because they're the best!. The question is why do we own a class A, not which one is the best, or the old "DP vs gas". It doesn't matter, they both have their place in the RV world. We've had the 40 Monaco Dynasty, and while a great, great coach, we now have a Ford V-10 F-53. It's not better or worse, just different and it suits our needs.
I do believe it's a little more expensive way to travel, but we're not limited to where the airlines fly. We can go anywhere we want. We bring our Jeep when we have the kids with us, and the Harleys when we don't.
The twins have their bunk beds, and ALL their stuff, dolls, games, bike's, everything.
Sometimes we'll start out for one place, change our mind, and all we have to do is turn the wheel and we can go somewhere else! Try telling an airline pilot you changed your mind and want to go somewhere else. I believe that's actually called hijacking and will land you in the pokey - don't try it.
I, and all of us, could probably write a book listing our reasons for owning a Class A, but I think if you put it in one word, that word would be - FREEDOM!
