Why not the drivers seat

Just sitting here while camping in the drivers seat reading. Just one complaint. The passenger seat has a electric foot rest that comes out, why not the drivers, sure would be nice. This is one of my favorite spots to relax.
  • Our new Dutch Star came with a power foot rest on the driver's seat. It has a lock out while the engine is running. It's a Flexsteel seat.

You could move the passenger seat to the drivers side and, replace the passenger seat with an ejection seat from a fighter jet.
That would allow you to override the veto....:)

That makes sense. I turned my chair and had no problem switching pedals. But some with bigger feet might need more room to maneuver.

that was my first thought but it would be easy to require seat turned 90 degrees, ignition off, or some interlock. of course Darwin Jr. would figure out a way to bypass that.
    bumpy
  • Could it be that the MFG doesn't want the DRIVER to get so comfortable while driving that the temptation would be to raise the foot rest???
Sometimes these coaches can lull you. Like thinking you would run back and get a softdrink from the refer while going down the highway at 60+
    Laughable, but does happen!
