Maybe the used market had nothing to do with the "Quality" of the unit, maybe it has everything to do with disillusioned purchasers who thought they had the golden ring when they purchased their MH and then VERY quickly found out it cost MONEY to operate and maintain them, and it costs MONEY to use them, and it cost MONEY to go camping, and it cost MONEY to store them. So when they realize making a loan payment, insurance payment, maintenance costs are costing them more than their stick and brick house, the "glamour" of the MH quickly turns to rust, moth, and decay in their minds, and they can't dump them fast enough. In other words, their "dream" bubble busts!
How many, on these forums only, have stated they've NEVER been camping a day in their life, now all of a sudden want to purchase a $150,000 MH and go full timing (to live a cheaper lifestyle).... Um, like ... yea! Sure! In spite of all the warnings, hints, and suggestions from the experience folks on these forums, they simply turn a blind eye and think we're all a bunch of inconsiderate and mean spirited trolls on these forums and somehow get our jollies bashing them. So they go ahead and buy the MH anyway, just to throw it up for sale a year later!
I think (THAT) is really want's happening. It just turns out Thor MH's sell more than other brands, so of course, there will be more used re-sale "out there" too!
I personally think THAT is really want's happening. It has very little to do with the "quality" of the MH.
