- bobm253ExplorerActually the upgraded model includes a small step for cooking while traveling down the road. You just need to be careful when the wife/husband is outside and you're rounding a curve.
- Snowman9000ExplorerOh, I see. So it's for one of these:

- BobandShazExplorerNo this getting good. Will the griddle be dirt proof? Would be nice to use when moving down the road.
- bobm253ExplorerIt's an outdoor griddle. Just run the motor for awhile and then cook your favorite meal.
- Snowman9000ExplorerOK, thanks, that makes sense. Thanks everyone.
j-d, that isn't my unit but I'm getting a carbon copy.
Phil, it is the main exhaust, and it is normal sized; it is not easy to see it in the photo. - pnicholsExplorer IIThat exhaust pipe looks small in diameter(best I can tell from the photo)? Could it be your generator exhaust that has the steel plate on it?
- crassterExplorer IIGiving me ideas of building a hot water heater exchanger for on the road heating without propane.... I have a heat exchanger on a power washer that works off the muffler area....
- Coach-manExplorerCause it gets real hot!
- Flyfisherman128ExplorerOff roaders put them on the bottom of the exhaust so they don't set the grass on fire but yup, heat shield.
- tatestExplorer IIRV manufacturer adds the shield when experience tells them some heat sensitive part of the house is too close to the tailpipe. That is a non-basement model, built 8-12 inches lower on the chassis than basement C's, thus that much closer to exhaust system.
