Wifi booster

Anyone know of a small, inexpensive portable WIFI signal booster that I can use with my IPAD.We are heading out on a long trip and will be in areas with limited AT@T coverage. Besides, would prefer to use the campground WIFI instead of spending money on additional data. There is no way to connect an IPAD to a booster or antenna directly, so so I just need to have better WIFI. Thanks
  • There are dozens of online retailers selling all sorts of boosters. None of then will be really cheap. That is probably the number one problem with Apple. Terrible antennas. Dw has a Iphone and while i can get 1-2 bars 3g service she is lucky to get 1x
  • I have a read a lot on wifi repeaters and just ordered the JefaTech long range repeater, http://www.jefatech.com/product/RV-KIT-REPEATER/Long-Range-WiFi-Repeater-Kit-for-RVs.html

The reviews were great. Will let you know after the install.

I have a Pepwave Surf Mini. I got it on sale for $50. DW has an iPad that seldom can connect to campground wi-fi. The Pepwave fixed that.
  • Are you asking about a 3/4G booster or an 802. A/B/G/N booster?
