WE put an old fashion bulb ( one that produces heat) in the water bay compartment and one behind the fridge if the ice maker is running. Works like a champ. Our heater is ducted to the water bay and has a rocker switch to turn it on. We ordered heat pads under the tanks with those switched in the bathroom.
