There are several things that cause windshields to pop out. The factory cut the hole to big, factory installed improperly, window frame rusty from moisture, twisting frame while jacking, and hidden damage to front cap frame. The fact it popped out going down the road would suggest on your make either the hole was cut to big and not properly fitted which could be a recurring problem if the repair place is not familiar with how to permanently repair. Usually unless the places pulls the windshield and totally reseals a patch repair likely will not hold!
