Inside the head liner/ceiling comes down past the top of the window. Can't see any way to get behind with out removing a lot of "stuff".
Incandescent clearance lights are tough to check. If water gets in around the removable lens, it can leak in to the coach along the electrical wires even if the base of the clearance light looks like it is sealed.
They do make sealed LED clearance lights that are truly sealed and once the base is caulked, no water can get under the lens and find it's way in to your coach.
