On a recent trip, we got two rock chips, one on the passenger windshield, the other on the drivers side, State Farm Insurance paid to have the drivers side replaced, it developed a large crack almost the next day, and had the glass company repair the passenger side at no cost to us (we do have $100.00 deductable and paid that for the drivers side replacement) We called our agent before we took it in to the RV shop. Saw Ron's post above, so thought I would chime in with our experience.
We had my wife's windshield replaced due to a crack in her field of vision, which State Farm paid for (we also had a $100 deductible, which we paid). I think that their policy relates to single rock dings, which they used to cover. I'm glad that they folded the additional repair into your claim. I had been very happy with State Farm Insurance resolving any claims that I've had.
