What bothers me, is this: as soon as I turn on the headlights, the voltage gauge on the dash drops. This means, to me, that the wire supplying 12v from the batteries to the entire front section of the RV, is inadequate and needs to be upgraded.
Without a heavier gauge cable supplying the front, a relay would not be able to do much.
In a car or a commercial truck, where the engine and battery are in front, this is not an issue, but in an RV, with the engine and batteries in the back, it is.
Is that correct?
