Been in high winds many times. If you are lucky enough you will not be broadside to the wind but even if you are in most cases that is not a real problem. If you have slide toppers you may reach a point where it will make sense to pull in your slide. Other than that not much more you can do except be aware of where the wind is coming from and whether it will rip the door out of your hand if you open it to go outside.
