Sat out a 70-80 mph wind in Furnace Creek resort CG. We were rear end to the wind next to the chain link fence and still rocked a bit.Also shredded part of the slide toppers. Rigs across the highway at the N.P. cg really took a beating. One fiver had a solar array set up on the ground and it wrapped part of it around the fiver and blew the rest away. When we got home, the insurance replaced the awning and the slide toppers.
We left for Las Vegas the next day and a few minutes after we pulled out on the highway, we got hit by a gust of wind that stopped us from 40 mph and caused the awning to unroll. had headwinds all the way to past Pahrump and got about 4 MPG from Ridgefield to Las Vegas.
