He must have had brakes other than Bosch since the Bosch recall dealt with the swelling of the phenolic brake pistons not steel pistons. But as I said, if he had an autopark brake, he was NOT subject to the Bosch recall for the W series chassis since the autopark brake was never used on the W chassis.
