Most RV quality control is where the auto industry used to be....about 1935 or so.

No I think Rv manufactures buy from the lowest bidder and I know they do not inspect every piece they install.

A long time ago in a land far away before the internet. I asked every question I could think of before I bought a used Gulfstream motor home. In a very short time I realized the purchase was a serious mistake and I had asked all the wrong questions. That it was a piece of junk the day it left the factory! Within a year I had sold it.

Not wanting another morsel of defecation I purchased a bus and built my own motorhome. I full-timed in it for 10 years and eventually sold it.

Now I have a little Toyota mini motorhome and wonder why I did not buy a Sprinter type vehicle and build my own. Someday I will learn, just not today.

Your beef here should be with the manufacturer of the tank, not with Winnebago who bought it and installed it. I see no Winnebago responsibility for this. At all. There is NO WAY Winnebago could have caught that thin plastic.

No it's the water tank When they molded it you can see where it was really thin. At first I thought they might have nicked it with a saw or grinder when they installed the cheater vent for the shower drain. After I removed it you could clearly see where it was paper thin. Just disappointed that someone would install it like that.Held up for 8 years but filling with a 5/8 hose and having a 1/2 overflow I'm sure the pressure finally blew the thin part out.After a couple of 5th wheels and diesel pusher doing maintenance on them you really see how these rvs are put together.

By "poly water tank," do you happen to mean your fresh water tank? What is it doing? Is it leaking? You have not described your problem at all, just posted a picture that gives us no information.

Since it is a 2007, and has been used for 8 years, maybe Winnebago didn't send it out like that. It may be damage from use.

cant tell what it is other than has 2 holes in it!
