Reading this it seems only the 12 mo warranty is transferrable. So it sounds like Winnie does not have to repair it under their policy. Be nice if they would extend the good faith gesture but it appears they don't have to. I've only been able to address a warranty issue outside the period on a very rare occasion and I still owned it.
