Assuming you have all your contacts with various Winnebago personnel, call the tech line and ask to whom a letter of this type should be sent. Send the letter documenting all contacts (in detail) to that person, return receipt requested. If the response is negative, find out who this person's boss it...do the same thing mentioning the disapproval by name. It may take a while, so you have to keep going up the chain. I did this where a dealer sold us a vehicle that had a serious factory defect...but was out of warranty. I finally got to a guy who said, "bring that thing up here, we need to fix it." I did...and they did...even reimbursed me for fuel.
