We bought a Viva about a month ago. Had some factory issues to take care of. Added some personal touches and then we were off.
Just completed the first leg of our trip. 2000 miles from Florida to MN. Fuel economy averaged about 14mpg. Fully loaded with AC on most of the time.
I will add that we down sized from a 33' Class A Bounder. The smaller inside space and less storage was something we dealt with, only necessary items on board. I customized the storage areas for our needs.
The drop down bed is OK, only rated for 300lbs.
The coach sits fairly low so sewer connections are low also and on a few occasions we did rub the frame protectors on the back of the coach. Watch the low dips in roads and driveways.
The coach handles well. Like driving a car, no fighting it on the road. With the shorter coach and no toad we were able to pull into any gas station, fill up, move out, no other worries.
I purposely chose roads that I would have never taken the Class A/ towing. The Viva handled them well, not like a Lamborghini though.
With the smaller coach, we made some sacrifices, that being said, I don't think I'd go back to an A.
