How do planes fly they are heavier than air?
What a very silly reply from someone who it appears is totally clueless . Your an expert on something you have never seen or driven! If you have anything to contribute that is not as silly please let us know. Otherwise comment on something that you have.
I don't fly in something I don't understand and I don't drive something I can't explain. I also think about how things work without having to experience how things work, that's what thinking is for if one takes the time to do it. Otherwise one is driving a machine based on emotion instead of reason. Explain how it is that tandem rear axles "feel better", or be honest and admit it's pure preference.
Millions of Americans - truckers, ranchers, farmers, city delivery drivers, RV'ers, other folks, off-roaders, etc. - have driven stock American Iron for 100+ years and think it's axles, tires, springs, shocks, etc., in most situations are just fine.
Just because something started from someplace outside of the U.S. doesn't mean it's better ... unless it can be explained as to why it's better.
The flip side is true too. Just because the idea or product didn't come from here doesn't make it inferior. The "experts" said mini vans would never catch on here.
The vast majority of people know very little about how the airliners they fly on work, BTW.
