I have a Travato, while not a C-class like the Trend, I can comment on it's characteristics.
For years, I've not been a fan of anything Chrysler. Not until I got this van. I'm very impressed with it. Plenty of power from it's V6 for a rig of this size (~10k pounds). Mileage has been excellent - 16 to 18 mpg just as they promised. The FWD is superb - specially driving in the rain.
The ride is VERY smooth. Those Sprinter vans with the dual rear wheels get a lot of complaints on the boards about how stiff the ride is - unacceptable is a word I've seen more than once.
These FWD vans are engineered to have a front weight bias so cargo can be loaded on the rear axle. That is why they work so well for RV service. Also, they are so smooth, i've not noticed the contents of my cabinets moving around. You don't open a door and a bunch of stuff fall out.
Also, you have to consider size. With the limited storage and tank sizes of rigs like this, you are hard pressed to load them up like you would in a class A. There just isn't room for all that junk. There is NO WAY I can overload my van unless I flip up the bed and fill it with cement blocks.
So far I've had no warranty claims. No noises or rattles. I think it's well screwed together.
And don't forget - they're CHEAP! Much less than something built on a Sprinter.
Good to hear wincrasher65
