I mean why would anyone clomp, bump and swerve down the road in the Chevy extended if there is an alternative? The forums are filled with advice on suspensions, airbags and more sophisticated tweaks, in order to make the ride better, for me, bearable. Does anyone know if the FWD is the reason the Travato is a pleasure to drive?
Interestingly, that doesn't describe how my 25' Chevy handles at all. It isn't that much different than my minivan to drive. It behaves beautifully even passing and being passed/met by 18-wheelers. No clomp, bump, or swerve. (but I had that in spades with my Ford E350 class B) I have added nothing to the RV related to suspension or handling in the 3 years I've had it.
We concur with mumkin. Our 2007 Chevy 3500 Pleasureway Lexor was a pleasure to drive. No clomp, bumping or swerving at all
