There are a lot of ups and downs on Winnebago's new rig. I would guess MPG is about 25% better than the usual Ford E350/E450, but not as good as a Sprinter (you won't see 20s.)
In Europe, the ProMaster/Ducato platform is the choice for 2/3 of all motorhomes there (www.fiatcamper.com), so if it were total junk, it would have been tossed long ago for a Transit or a Sprinter base.
Winnebago switches out the seats with leather.
