We were at an RV show in Phoenix this past weekend. They did have a new Trend there. It was the 23L floorplan. The driver and passenger seats were black fabric. We much prefer those over the Ultraleather.
The Dodge cab area was comfortable and very user friendly.
Having traveled extensively and lived fulltime in both a Class A motorhome and a travel trailer, I considered the Trend to be a pretty good alternative, if you are looking for a smaller rig. Sure would be easy to drive in heavy city traffic, etc. Less hassle parking at campsites. That is what interests me these days.
They could not get the bed in the ceiling to work when we were at the RV show, so we did not get to see it in the lowered position. But we have seen the pictures online.
There was no power vent/light over the stove, and no vent in the ceiling in the kitchen area. Some cooks would not appreciate that.
We felt the materials and fit/finish were quite good.
Love how you can pull a strap and have a built in backrest in the corner bed....for TV viewing....or bedtime reading, etc.
They had the generator running. I have to say....it was VERY loud. Several other people also noticed that. And it is located so far under the motorhome, we could see no easy way to do your own maintenance, without laying completely on your back and slithering under like a snake.
Maybe there is access to the gen under the bed. We wanted to look, but they were trying so hard to get the upper bed to work that we didn't want to interrupt.
