My local Itasca dealer got a Viva (Trend counterpart)so I rushed over to see it. Disappointed in the driving position because it does not have a tilt steering wheel, just a telescoping one. It felt uncomfortable to drive for long distances. Also did not like the interior fabric or counter tops in this particular unit, but I see now that Winnebago does offer more choices in the Trend, including cloth seats. Price was good from this dealer, nice discount. They always sell near wholesale. Nice layout in this floor plan, the one without the bed in the back.
The Trend/Viva steering wheel does go out and in, but doesn't tilt. Last time I drove a vehicle like that, it was a 1968 Corvette. I know Fiat made concessions for price, but that is one thing that they might consider upgrading when it is time for a model restyle.
If you don't mind, can you PM me what the dealer offered? A lot of dealers actually say the MSRP of the Trend is $10,000 over Winnebago's posted price and "discount" from there.
I wouldn't mind a pm either, if you are feeling generous.
