After quite some time doing some other high priority things I'm back on the furnace. I jumped the relay and using another connection to the coach battery the furnace runs. The leads out of the wiring harness will not run the motor though. I do have the thermo wire there and do I need to connect that to the + wire and then try powering from the leads? I followed the + wire to the control panel. Black and green are much harder to follow as there is virtually no access to them. There is a green wire that I can see from the furnace opening when it's out. It has a round, sort of washer shaped terminal but I cannot imagine where it may go. It comes from a bundle of 3 green wires.
So I'm in wire hell! I did order a replacement relay but the new version is much larger than the original and I will have to figure out how I can mount it and where. Plus, it has 2x as many terminals but that seems pretty straight forward.
For now it seems that I'm having power to the furnace from the original leads as the primary problem. I'm going to jump the thermo and + wires and then try powering from the leads again. I'll keep you all posted.
Many thanks for any ideas!
