I had purchased a new relay which is a lot bigger than the original but after trying every combo of clipping on the wires I finally got the furnace to function normally but from my inverter terminals from the coach battery (RV is currently plugged into 110V). I could not get it to run from the normal power leads though. I checked continuity and it looks like the red+ has an issue. I physically traced it (such fun!) and can see no cuts or damage. It does tie in with another + wire after it leaves the control center. I don't know where that other wire goes. Perhaps that factory splice is now and issue, not sure. I could run another wire from the control panel and bypass the splice completely and see if that works but It would just be a shot in the dark.
BTW, I spliced the thermostat wire to the + wire for the test and after the proper delay the fan kicked in. Tried the same with the factory/coach wires and nothing. I'll see if the coach electrical schematics help but that's pretty deep for me. Also, no other electrical aspect of the coach seems effected.
Thanks
From your description it would guess you have a blown fuse in the main fuse center for coach. In many RV's the fuses and circuit breakers are in the same panel or close by.
Do you have other 12 volt items working in the coach?
