Winshield protection ClearPlex - Anyone tried it?

Hi, I had a few rocks in my windshield in the past year, lately a big smash that left a 1 inch bullseye. Where I come from, they put gravel on roads in winter and I had 3 rocks in two days, cannot afford to replace windshield every year.

Have someone tried ClearPlex protection film to prevent rock damage or is there something else that could be used?

Have you checked with your insurance company? I dunno about in Canada, but in many/most/all of the US, insurance companies routinely replace windshields with no deductible on the theory that they want you to be able to see where the H*** you are going so you can avoid hitting, um, expensive things. Can't hurt to inquire.

ClearPlex is sold for Vehicle windshield, it is just a film, like a car wrap.

In the US there are laws about putting things on windshields. You probably have those in Canada also.
