Yes, the pump is in the pooper compartment. The water lines run thru a small opening into the basement area. So, that compartment isnt heated well from the single heater vent from that goes into the basement. No worries about the water in the tank freezing, but since the pump is in the outer compartment its was a concern. I stuffed a pillow up around it. It got down to 28F. No problem there. We ran the heater, but cracked a window cause its too hot, even on low. But then the Generator fuel pump decided to quit. (20 years old, 1400 hrs). We packed up and webt back to phoenix the next morning. So, never got to see how low of temps we could go.
Question: at 4 am, pitch black, someone starts shooting. About 1 shot per second. 28F degrees out. They were maybe 1 mile away. WTF? They were shooting for like 20 min. Thanksgiving morning. What up with that? How can you see your target? Maybe hunters? Drunks? I dont know.
