If the wind blows where you live, don't even think about it. The least amount flapping will damage your RV. Where I live I see RVs covered by the owners and left in storage in September/October. By November/December they are half uncovered and flapping in the wind not only damaging their unit but the one next to it. By January, the cover is in tatters or even missing completely. Don't care how well fitted or secured they will not hold up under windy conditions.
