In AZ I do not see a reason to winterize, but I have not used other brands other than Northwood.
What did you do to/with the rig in between trips?

Just empty the tanks. It just doesn't get cold enough to worry about it in AZ. Even in the ant hills I call them, i.e. a couple of bumps in the state that everyone runs to in the summer, so many it looks like an ant hill. We only camp in late fall, winter, early spring to get away from the ants.
