Winterizing a 2004 BT Cruiser

So I bought a 2004 27' BT Cruiser and thought today would be a good day to winterize. So I looked at the manual, and it really didn't tell me much. Apparently Gulf Stream has the same manual for every motor home and every year! So I thought I've winterized my travel trailer many times, how hard can it be to figure out? First thing I did was look for the water tank drain valve, couldn't find it. OK I so I ran the pump to empty the tank. There are a lot of valve near the water tank and no diagram in the manual to let you know what's what. After 3 hours, I think I have succeeded in getting the job done, but is there any place to get manuals for this motor home that would actually help someone?
Is there a drain plug for the water tank?
Thanks!

The only one I know of is this one. Gulf Stream Motorized Owners Manual.

I've got the original of that and I even called Gulf Stream and they told me they don't have anything besides that. I was wondering if there was any aftermarket stuff available. Haven't been able to locate anything. Would be nice to have wiring diagram or what valves go where in the plumbing.
What's Gulf Stream's plan with the crappy manual? You have to take your coach back to the dealer for everything?
  • Most all GS RV's that I have seen have small T valves for winterizing the RV. Mine are next to the freshwater tank.

There is also a 1/4 turn valve on fresh water tank.
  • I have a 07 BT and the fresh water tank drain valve is in the compartment next to the inlet to fill the tank, hot water bypass is under a closet with a drawer behind the hot water heater
  • My 2007 BT has a small drain valve in the small storage bay just to the rear of the fresh water tank. When I open the bay door it is easy to spot.

And I agree, the owners manual is pretty useless and not specific to my model.
