We have used wireless tow lights on our vehicles for the past 7 years now with no issues. Ours take 4 AA Batteries each and are not rechargeable. The Batteries last for at least 10 days of driving, maybe more. I would be leary of purchasing wireless tow lights that only last 8 hours as the ones you posted do. Recharging every day on the road will get old fast. I would recommend you look for ones on Amazon with longer lasting Batteries.

The Hazard Fraught ones claim up to 100hrs in a charge. li-ion batteries. Seems ok and they’re pretty cheap ($139 seems stupid cheap if they work and you can get a few years of good use out of them and no install effort).
