WNY Pat
Has anyone heard anything from Pat? He is a long time RV.Net Poster from Buffalo, N.Y. and he hasn't posted in quite awhile? Thanks, Rooster

People like Smacdiesel are the reason I don't look at this site very often.

The last correspondence that I had with Pat was in June of last year (2014). On their annual trip through the Southwest last year, the (diesel) engine blew on his Foretravel. They had to leave it down there and have a new engine put in. They flew home while the engine was being replaced. When they flew back to pick it up, there were problems with it about an hour down the road. Again, back into anther shop for more costly repairs. This resulted in more hotel stays, flights to and from home etc. By the time all was said and done, the whole ordeal cost them thousands upon thousands of dollars. When they finally arrived home, Pat's wife (and I imagine Pat to some extent) were so disgusted with the entire incident that they put the Foretravel up for sale and got out of RV'ing.
Too bad because Pat, being a retired OTR trucker, was quite a knowledgeable guy.
