We replaced all of the carpet in our 35 foot motor home with laminate. We weighed a large piece of the carpet and pad and used that to figure the total weight. The laminate added about 160 pounds or so.
Unless it is now made much thinner than it used to be, regular wood would be a lot heavier and the slides might have a problem riding up over it.
We replaced all of our shades with
MCD American Duo shades. The ones on the windshield are motorized and replace the sun visors and provide day and night privacy as well.
A number of people have replaced the carpet with Home Depot Allure vinyl planks with over lapping adhesive coated strips. It is not rated for RV use though because of the low upper temp rating it has.
I have read there is a new type of Allure that snaps together and it might be more suitable for an RV.
We had the regular Allure installed in a house we inherited that we thought we might rent out. I had no reason to weigh it but moving it into the house to stabilize before installation showed me that it is heavy.
