update
installed the the 50 amp bussman circuit breaker two weeks ago
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001R4G4WG
and removed two fuses, 10amp ABS relay control fuse, and 60amp ABS power fuse
last week end they took an 800-mile round trip to a Jazz festival
the circuit breaker tripped ONE time for about 15 seconds, turning off the radio the A/C etc.., which all came back on when the breaker reset
he said he was making a turn into a parking lot, when it happen
no other problems for the entire trip
we have significantly change the odds of the fuse/breaker failure, and the auto reset breaker is a big plus
the circumstances, again seem to point to a wiring harness problem
and what i have done by pulling the ABS control relay fuse, is decrease the load on the circuit
but NOT totally eliminate the problem, because it is in the wiring harness, not a piece of equipment
