Just had a major issue with our 02 CAT 3126 and the first words out of the shop foreman's mouth was 'You know that 11 years in the diesel engines cycle is 2 or 5 life times" I said " It is worse than that as CAT is out of the OTR business." We both laughed and and we were fortunate in that CAT it seems is committed to keeping to keeping repair parts in the supply chain.
