- Go to Raybestos website. You should be able to compare part numbers.
Raybestos - C350amgExplorerIf you are running a P series chassis the parts are really easy to get.
These are basically Chevrolet chassis. Any good Chevy truck dealership should have these parts.
I just had the 2 back ones changed and rebuilts at the dealership were 70$ each.
P30's are also notorious for too much end play on the bellcranks. - SledHedEdExplorerNow I have to figure out if there is only one caliper part # for all 4 corners or not. The parts stores can't confirm this and I haven't had time to call Workhorse.
- harold1946ExplorerThe P series is not involved in the recall. The P series OEM calipers are Bendix and the W series are Bosh. There are 5 Workhorse authorized service centers in Mass., any of which should be able to quote part numbers using the VIN. Good luck.
- SledHedEdExplorerGood point. I think I will crawl under and look at the casting numbers. The owner is calling today to see if it's covered under a recall but now that we know it's a P32 I don't think so. I think the recall was for W chassis only.
- rgatijnet1Explorer IIIHe should be able to look underneath the coach and read the numbers right on the calipers. These will be raised casting numbers on the main body of the caliper. Might have to wipe off some dirt and use a flashlight but they should be visible.
- harold1946ExplorerIf the 6th digit in the VIN is a 5 its a P32 series chassis. Many parts stores do not have references for large trucks. Try a Workhorse service center or NAPA truck service center. They should be able to reference using the VIN.
- SledHedEdExplorerIt is independent with coil springs just like my old 1990 Holiday. So I would say it's a P32. I just found on OEMY'S website that all 4 calipers are the same part # but I can't confirm this. This is pretty frustrating.
- DaveinetExplorerDoes it have a solid front axle, or is it independent front suspension? P series is independent, W22 is solid front axle. I think the W18 was more like the P series.
- SledHedEdExplorerDoes anyone know how to tell if it's the P or W chassis?
