  • The 8.8L engine is probably the PSI engine. PSI designed the engine to run on a variety of fuels, including compressed natural gas, propane and gasoline. The engine produces 430 hp. and 600 lbs.-ft. of torque at 3,400 RPM. This compares to the 8.1L GM engine with 340 HP and 455 lbs.-ft of torque at 3200 RPM.
    My 8.1L engine has plenty of power but the new PSI engine, coupled with the Allison transmission sounds fantastic.

  • Gone in bad times; here in good times. Probably a tough sell. But it is good to have some competition for Ford, I think they've been lazy with updating the F53.
