One more thing... do you think it's likely I will get a better deal at a specific time of year? Or does that depend on where it's located geographically? I used to think winter is best, or in the south, or south-west where there are more (supply vs demand, more for sale = better price)? I will probably be ready to buy my Class B in early spring, maybe as early as March/April but it could be as late as June or July. If necessary, I could wait until September if it means a screaming good deal, but no later than September.
Although I've been researching motorhomes for almost a year, online mostly, I was more into the different classes and manufacturers at first, not really paying as much attention to price and seasonal or regional variations in price. I don't mind buying a bus or plane ticket to go pick up a really good unit, as long as either the price is exceptionally good and/or the condition is exceptionally good. Otherwise I'd prefer to find one locally so I could drive over to the seller or dealer and take my time looking it over, test driving, etc. But every once in a while you see one that looks perfect but it's 1500 miles away.
