I agree with Cbigham on the experience issue. Going with an older, lower mileage B in good condition potentially makes it easier for you to experience RV ownership and use and then decide what you really want without taking any big depreciation hit. I started with an old mid 80's Chevrolet that I converted myself and now I moved up to a 99 Dodge based Leisure Travel Van which I got for $17,000 two years ago with 30,000 miles. (BTW, LTV makes nice, high end class B RV'S) While I have never been much of a Dodge fan, I have found it to be economical and reliable (so far). The handling could be better, but it is OK if the speed is kept down to 65 mph or less, which is fast enough for an RV anyway as far as I'm concerned. I have put over 20,000 miles on my RV and I am very happy with it. Take your time and you will find a good fit for your circumstances. It took me a couple of years, although I did have my old van to use in the meantime.
