Hi Folks,
Met a guy with a RT 200 or RT 210 at the rally in Maine. Lived in a condo development with no RV's allowed. He took the decals off with a hair dryer and told everybody it was a large van which was allowed. Worked for him.

Excellent idea! I was going to do that anyways, but for different reasons (so it would not look like a motorhome when I want to discretely park and camp out overnight within a city while passing through, rather than looking for, and paying for, a campground). Removing the decals would have several benefits!
And as for the recall issue mentioned above... yeah that's a tough one. I can see how Dodge wouldn't want to remove the aftermarket parts to do the recall, I get that. And I can see how Roadtrek wouldn't want to do it because it's not their fault Dodge has a recall on the chassis. I guess that's one of the compromises you have to go with when you get a motorhome. About the trade-in value, I don't know... dealers need to make a profit, so they typically give you a lower, wholesale value on trade-in. If they still have it on the lot, and it's been a long time, it's probably overpriced, or they don't mind holding on to it until the high season for camping comes around if there's a good sized profit to be made. Glad to hear you're enjoying your new MH. There's a right one for everyone. I just hope I pick the right one - I can't afford to trade in too often!
