Must be a different motorhome the other was a 2000 this is a 2001 and it does make a difference the 2000 was probably on a 1999 chassis and could be one of the recall ones. The 2001 would most likely be on a 2000 chassis.

86K miles alone is not a no-go but the devil is in the details. The Ford power train should be good for well over 200K if properly maintained.

Is the "86k" the mileage or the price?

The question "would you buy?" ALWAYS depends on the details. ALWAYS! I would be more likely to buy an entry level RV that was well cared for then a top of the line RV that was then ignored.
