I would absolutely buy another with a slide or slides! The Slide Awning is to catch the normal garbage that settles on top of things and whIch needs to be brushed off before bringing in a slide.
Under normal circumstances they do Not Flap or Tear or collect Rain .
Without an awning You might need to climb a Ladder to brush off the Pine Needles !
