not that I am actually gonna read all this, but....
Slideouts started to being in most motorhomes in about 1999, 14 years ago.
Like anything new, there were some problems, some people got burned, and many, either the "burnies" or the "I don't want nuttin newies" said "slides are a problem waiting to happen."
Well. MH #1, a 1999, had a slide.
MH #2 has four slides.
No way, no how, would I ever go back. MH #2 is just plain huge. 12' wide inside, lots of room for us and for our dogs. Never a slide problem, and if there was I'd rather fix it than go back to an 8 foot coach.
