I am a MH "wanna be". I read this thread often so I at least think I will know what I am getting into when I buy one. And this is a good information source. But my question is, is there a source that will tell me all about a MH and how things work. I admit to being confused about many things. But things such as knowing when to test batteries, whether or not the generator needs to be on while driving down the road, tire pressures, even tips on driving the rig since I don't have the experience. These are just sample items, I'm not really asking to have these answered, I was just trying to give you a sample of the types of things I would like to better understand.
Any real good "newbie" sources out there?
Thanks in advance, Tom
You might want to begin with topic 1 and 4 in this Class A Motorhome section and it's sort of a learn as you go process and how much of a gearhead you are or want to be. Most who drive cars these days, aren't' really sure if they're front or rear wheel drive, 4, 6, or ? cylinder engine. Let alone doing anything in the line of repairs or even maintenance. Won't even wash it or run the vacuum. These individuals are usually at the mercy of anyone who wants to take them for a ride and it's just a matter of time, with sooner rather than later.
