"our forever home" lots to think about. Comfort; is the furniture supportive or does it sag, easy to get out of and into? Is the bathroom big enough, with a cane or a walker? In other words as you get older will the coach still fit.
Can I get the stuff out I loaded into the bays, should I have drawers. Fuel on both sides, mirrors and general visibility, esp driving into the sun. Accessability to change filters and occasionally drain air tanks, are the holding tanks and fresh water as big as they can be? is that important? How much fuel does it hold? propane? enough for a cold week or two? Comfort to me aside from the furniture and how the inside is laid out, is knowing I have enough capacity to remain independent for a good period of time...just in case something happens unplanned. I guess they all have heated basements.
An extra bed/couch for the grand kids? Reasonable galley, can you really cook a meal in that space? Freezer in the basement?
Stuff and tools can really add up for weight, yes you lose a bin with a tag but you gain carrying capacity, so hopefully you will not be over weight on any axle.
Chances are you will have a toad. This allows you to travel in a practical manner to a location that may not fit your coach. Not being comfortable for a few extra feet is just not worth the aggravation of living in a coach that comes up short to you.
well, some thoughts.
