Verizon's customer service rep told me that I could update my unlimited data 3G aircard to an unlimited data 4G aircard. After receiving our bill noticed that the new 4G aircard had a 5 gig data limit.
Called Verizon and was informed they don't offer unlimited data with 4G air cards.
Requested that they reinstate my unlimited data 3G plan. They refused, stating they no longer offer any 3G plans.
I called and talk to many different supervisors and wrote letters and emailed without results.
We've been Verizon customers since the 1990's and I'm not one to complain or act unprofessional, but felt I was mislead and taken advantage by Verizon's over zealousness to eliminate unlimited data plans.
I've had the air card since they were first offered many years ago. Paid the $60 monthly fee, even though it wasn't used for many months during the year, but when used, can hit up to 20 gigs for a few months per year. For those few months of heavy use, is why I wanted to preserve the unlimited data plan.
