Problem with comparing Verizon with others is we can get trapped in comparing Plans without remembering Coverage. I retired from those guys, well the landline side. I think they do a pretty good job on problem issues, but they have this "business model" they want all their dealings to fall within. Stay within and it's all joy. All the big outfits (which probably means ANY wireless provider) are that way. They really want our business. They just want it their way. We have a Vz cell (old "legacy" phone) and a 4G MiFi w/5gB limits that we've never come close to. We hit 50% in one month while fulltiming. It provides warnings at 50% then twice again. 75 and 90 if I recall but that's only what I was told and I've never seen those notices. If we went over, we'd bump the next 1gB for $10 and I can live with that. It's what we paid for 3G service we never maxed out anyway. But I agree that I wouldn't want to pay $150 to get from 5gB to 20gB. Not once, let alone routinely.
