I know about tires age and all that.
  • We have an '08 Leprechaun and have been very happy with it. While we did purchase it pre-owned in 2012, have not had any major issues with it at all. Very pleased with it to this point and very much looking forward to several more years with it.
  • I have a 2013 22QB. We love it and do not regret our purchase at all.
  • That is a good standard rig in my area, they have been in business many years
and still going strong. I think you most likely found a gem!

  • I have a 97 coachmen santara with the 460 engine. It has taken me from New York to Arizona and back, to Myrtle Beach SC and back twice, to Boothbay Harbor Maine and back twice with no problems at all. Just uses a lot of gas as its a guzzler getting about 6.5 miles per gallon. It's got about 50,000 miles on it.
  • Thanks everyone for the response I really appreciate it.I am not looking for one I just found this one and now have it really cheap and in very good shape no leaks ever always kept inside.the Gen.was run when new and gas shut off and not ran again .When I turned the gas on it took a minute to get gas and started right up checked the voltage and let it run for 2 hrs under load so I hope it is going to be O.K.I have a camper van so if it gives trouble it will go Thanks again everyone I can always count on good responses.
  • My parents had a Leprechaun, but they bought it new in the 60's, so too old to compare. FWIW, they never had a problem with it. Generator hours don't mean much if the previous owner was a FHU camper, like me. I probably have less than 12 hours on mine in 10 years.
  • I have a 1997 Coachman Catalina 22RK that I bought in 2008. It had 32,000 miles on it and 134 or so hours on the generator. It has been fine with no issues. Mine has the V10 and the only issue I've had with that was the torque convertor going bad at 40 something thousand miles.
If you're looking for more specific information, you should add what model/size Leprechaun you're looking at.
  • I had a 1999 purchased new. Nothing but problems from day one, constant water leaks, poor quality construction. It was the worst rv we ever had.
