9th Edition of Roadfood

The 9th edition of Jane and Michael Stern's Roadfood came out yesterday. I think a copy of this book should be in every RVer's glove compartment. We did a write up on our blog about how we used the book to find great food in Vermont last summer if anyone is interested.

  • Discovered their online presence before the book and it's been a lovely and tasty resource for my NE travels. Super Duper Weenie, the gotta get off at exit 24 95N place that signifies the actual start of our Princess' camping trip; The Clam Castle, with a Fisherman's Platter big enough for 2 days dinner means we've hit the middle of our trip, and on the way back home, we stop at Bishop's for grape tomatoes so sweet we rarely have any left from the 2 hour car ride to make a meal at home. I hide the cider doughnuts, berries and cheeses in the trunk to have some sort of remembrance of CT in NY.

Definitely going to buy the book for my forthcoming cross continental trip.
