I've used Corelle dishes at home every day for 40 years and 2 kids. I wanted to brag about our new indestructible dishes to a friend, took a bowl and THREW it onto the floor at his feet. It bounced, no chips. Another time the kids dropped a cup down a full flight of concrete stairs (this better have been an accident) and it bounced no chips.
Maybe it is just plates? We did have one plate shatter.
Anyway, use your surviving Corelle and eat up this meal. Perhaps Bob will publish a cookbook for us?
